Who is this course for?
What is Multiply? Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages or prepare for further study. They also help in everyday life, such as helping children with homework and budgeting money. These courses are for adults aged 19+ who do not already have a GCSE at grade 4/C (or equivalent) in maths.

Entry requirements
No previous knowledge or skills are required. Learners must be over 19 years of age and not hold a level 2 qualification in maths.

How do I enrol?

Course aims
Understand the key elements and techniques used in popular takeaway dishes. Prepare and cook a takeaway-inspired meal using basic ingredients. Apply creativity to adapt and customise recipes to suit personal preferences.

How will the course be delivered?
Course shall be delivered via a face to face tutorials and self study

Will I need to study or practise outside the classroom?
You will be expected to review your notes between lessons to ensure maximum benefit from your course. It is always beneficial to practise your skills at home.

How will I know I'm making progress?
Your tutor will set objectives for each session and give feedback on how you are progressing. You will agree personal targets as part of your Individual Learning Plan (ILP), and you will review your targets throughout the course to check your own progress.

What will I need for the course?
Please bring a pen and notepad.
