Multiply Maths Morsels provides a flexible open learning opportunity for you to develop maths skills that suit your busy lifestyle and allow you to focus on developing maths knowledge in convenient chunks.  

Who is this course for?
Adult learners without a GCSE grade 4 or C in maths. Anyone who needs some extra help to achieve a maths qualification or wants to brush up on certain aspects of their maths knowledge.

Course aims
When you sign up for Maths Morsels you will develop a learning plan with our maths tutor. You will agree how long you want to study for, which subjects you want to focus on and agree how many hours you want to study for. You can choose to attend the learning centre at certain times or to work remotely at a time that suits you. This course will give you the choice of attending face to face or working independently online to improve your maths skills. Maths Morsels will help you to increase confidence with numbers if you want to pass a numeracy qualification. It will also help you to increase maths skills to so that you can apply for jobs and target certain maths topics that will help you in your everyday life or work. Using the online learning platform will help anyone who is already on another maths courses and would benefit from some additional opportunities to develop their skills outside of a traditional maths classroom. This will help if you are not currently on a maths course and want to find about your maths skills.

How will this course be delivered?
This is a mainly theory course with some practical aspects.

Will I need to study or practise outside the classroom?
We would suggest allowing 1-2 hours per week outside of class time to develop your skills.

How will I know I'm making progress?
During the first session, your tutor will discuss your goals and current level in relation to the course. Based on this assessment, you will agree individual targets which you will record in your individual learning plan (ILP). You and your tutor will review your targets regularly to ensure that you are making progress; these will be written in your individual learning plan.

What will I need for the course?
Access to a digital device outside the classroom is essential for completing classroom projects.
