This course will introduce you to the online auction site eBay. You will learn how to search for and bid on items to buy and also how to list items for sale yourself.

Throughout the course you will cover:

- How to register with eBay and navigate the site.
-How the auction process works, tips on the bidding process and the different auction types.
- How to use the online help, contact the seller and use the feedback system.
- How to list an item for sale.
- Considerations on how to achieve the best price for your item.
- How to stay safe when buying and selling.

Entry requirements
You will need to be confident in PC skills, including use of Web Browsers. If you are not already registered with eBay you will need access to an email address to complete this.

How will this course be delivered?
You will be working with your tutor and other students on a weekly basis, face to face.

How will I know I'm making progress?
At the beginning of the session you will discuss the course aims and your goals with the tutor. At the end of the session you will review your achievements and discuss ways to develop the skills and knowledge that you have acquired.

Will I need to study or practice outside?
It is always useful to practice your skills after a session.

What will I need for the course?
Please bring a pen and notepad to each session.
