The aim of this qualification is to allow learners to demonstrate understanding and knowledge of data protection and data security, legislation, protecting organisation and own data, common threats and the consequences of not protecting data systems.

Qualification
NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Data protection and Data Security. * Understand Current Data Protection Legislation; * Understand Organisational Procedures Concerning Data; * Understand Threats to ICT Systems and Data; * Understand the Consequences of Not Protecting Data. This qualification is internally assessed.
