Entry Requirements
This is for complete beginners.
Course Intent
Decoupage means "to cut out" in French and learning decoupage techniques will enable you embellish and decorate just using paper, card or tissue and then coating the layers with varnish or specialist paint. In this course you will learn some of the basic techniques used to create and your own works of art.
How will the course be delivered?
The session will be practical with a combination of tutor demonstrations and hands on activities.
Will I need to study or practise outside the classroom?
It’s always good to practise your skills, your tutor may encourage home research.
How will I know I’m making progress?
Your tutor will set objectives for the session and give feedback on how you are progressing. You will agree personal targets as part of your Individual Learning Plan (ILP), and you will review your targets and the start and end of the session.
