Course Intent
Join our tutor Jayne for an introductory course where you will create a bright, abstract acrylic painting in a guided session suitable for absolute beginners. Learn how to mix colour and apply it using a range of tools and techniques. We will explore how to make marks to create your very own unique art work using acrylic paint. No experience necessary - just a willingness to have a go and enjoy yourself. If you enjoy this taster course you will have the opportunity to enrol for a more in depth acrylic painting course later in the year.

How will the course be delivered?
You will be working with your tutor and other students on a weekly basis, face to face.

Will I need to study or practise outside the classroom?
It is always useful to practice your skills between sessions. Your tutor may set some home learning for you to practice.

How will I know I’m making progress?
Your tutor will set objectives for each session and give feedback on how you are progressing. You will agree personal targets as part of your Individual Learning Plan (ILP), and you will review your targets throughout the course to check your own progress.
