There are no entry requirements, this course is for complete beginners. People with a limited amount of knowledge on the subject may join this course to refresh their knowledge.

Course aims
Imagine turning your ordinary day into an extraordinary exploration with a family bug hunt session, looking at insects. With just a magnifying glass in hand, you and your family, can uncover the secrets of the great outdoors, transforming a simple stroll in the woods/park, and its free!

How will this course be delivered?
This is a practical course and the sessions will include tutor-led demonstrations, learner-led group activities, instruction and repetition. These will form part of the delivery together with one-to-one support as required.

How will I know I'm making progress?
At the beginning of the session, your tutor will share with you the objectives of the day, which will give you an opportunity to think about your individual aims for the session. At the end of the session, you will have time to share your experience and reflect on what you learned.

What will I need for the course?
Please bring a pen and notepad.
